至於頻換負責人，是否影響世大運進度？柯文哲表示，世大運的業務有常務文官處理，確保世大運不管在工程和業務上都不會有問題，不可能不辦世大運，「這是國家顏面」，會努力辦好。
柯文哲說，高雄市曾在2009年辦過世界運動會，有相關經驗，高雄市也會協助舉辦世界大學運動會。
